Princeton Protection Services has a compliment of 210 security officers based at Groote Schuur hospital who have been working throughout the COVID-19 lockdown which is part and parcel of essential services. For some it has been incredibly stressful, and the team was worried about their vulnerable family members and taking the virus home. Team members experienced many challenges as operational requirements changed daily. These challenges and changes were carried out to the utmost without any demur and the security officers continued to offer an effective and efficient service to all at Groote Schuur Hospital
The Management team ensured that high priority was given to the daily screening of security officers. Our social responsibly was of paramount importance and where need be, officers were sent to the Covid testing centre for screening. High on the daily agenda was Social distancing, wearing of masks as well as sanitising.
Although there were risk factors, the team showed their support, dedication and reported to work daily. Where there were illnesses, others covered the gaps.
